i believe the story of knothole island is something about the people of knothole glade from the first game, being tired of the bad weather and balverine attacks, relocated to this climate controled island, but manage to lose control of the weather machine that effects the island

I'm also wondering, since i started playing fable 2 on my brother in law's system, if i can just copy it over to a memory card and continue playing it on my own system and wether i can transfer the xp points from that game into a new one?

You can transfer the save to your system, but the DLC is tied to his system. You'll have to buy the DLC pack to continue on yours tho or have him recover his gamertag on your system and re-d/l the pack on yours and be signed into LIVE with his GT whenever you want to play it.

i didn't get or play the DLC on his system, so no problem there, but what about tranferring the xp point from my old game over to my own system?

Should be able to copy it over to your system with a memory unit.

i've given up on that now, now i'm wondering where and how i get my limited edition gear for fable 2, the guide i've been following said i could get my gear at the chest in the chamber of fate, but when i went to it and pressed "A" to open it, it just said to go to www.fable2.com.
I went there but couldn't find anything pertaining to the LE gear and i can't seem to find a straight anwser on any of the sites i visited after googling my question, I've got the DLC code so i'm guessing i must have to input it somewhere online but where?

There is a down-loadable game called Fable II Pub Games. By downloading that and playing those pub games unique items will be transferred over to your character via the chest in the cave of heroes.

The Limited Edition Gear I believe only comes with the limited Edition Game if bought brand new. I bought mine used and never got the limited edition gear.

Yes they are. I haven't bothered to download it, I've only downloaded the Knothole glade and see into the future downloads.

crap! I can't seem to get onto xbox live, something about the xbox not recognizing the network or the router needing permission to let xbox use the network or something, it's mostly greek to me

Like Wong said, the LE stuff is not very good. You aren't missing much. I got a code from someone on Gamefaqs that didn't want it. The code is entered in just like any other code for Gold or MSP and is tied to your Gamertag. After you get the confirmation, it will show up in the chest in the CoF.

Also, there was (well is still listed) a minigame on the Fable 2 website that gave you certain items depending on the choices you made and the ending you received. I can't get it to load now. You'd have to be logged in with your gamertag and it would automagically deposit the items you win in the chest in the CoF, as long as you are connected to XBL with that tag when playing the game.

what about windows live can i do any of this through there? And can i download it to my xbox via a flash drive or somethin?



CRAP! i hooked my ethernet cable from my pc that the router already recognizes, to my xbox and to my surprise, it worked, which would be a good thing, except I setup my xbox live account through windows live and for whatever reason, my thoughts of bill gates signing his soul away to the devil for exclusive rights to screw over and piss off hundreds of thousands of pc and xbox users aside, it says i can't use the same email and password as it's associated with the one i created through windows live when i go in to set up an xbox live account through my xbox.

So how do I shut down the other one so i can recreate through xbox?
