    It was hilarious!!!

    I got the error, but was still able to play games, until I heard that you shouldn't even be turning on the console.

    If you have a slim PS3, they said you wouldn't have the error. Only the 60Gb and 80Gb units had the clock problem.

    I don't have one yet, but I've always preferred the slim, sexy models anywho.

    the error affected on March 1 2010.
    error went away on March 2 2010.

    WARNING (your trophies data will be corrupted)
    you really want see the error just change date and time on your (FAT) PS3 back to Feb 28 2010 11:59pm

    yeah I had that code .just shutdown and put them back into standby mode both American 60gb (now 500gb) as well as the Japanese 60 ( now 500 gb).just waiting till next day .lucky the 2ps3 at our house are asleep till I wake them up from thier winter sleep both are launch date 60 gb now upgraded to 500gb.yes I knew the ps3 is region free .BUT not for ps1/ps2 games of that region

    Like they said it was an issue with the internal clock where the system was tricked into thinking it was a leap year when it wasn't. Over now, I will probably get a new PS3 slim and install the 500Gb HDD I have.
